Kawasaki Solar Warehousing Private Ltd. (KSW) is a 100% Indian Subsidiary of Kawasaki Rikuso Transportation Company (KRT). KSW is based in India with its registered office in Kolkata.
KSW's parent KRT is a 96 year old Company based in Tokyo and a leader in Food Logistics in Japan with Revenue of around USD 100mn. In Japan, KRT handles 25% of the total volume of Chocolates consumed annually.

In our Singur warehouse, we have installed 322 solar panels to generate 82 Kw of energy. Our Solar System uses a sophisticated Inverter Technology to store solar energy in batteries so that we can generate electricity 24/7 without support of Grid. By doing so, we save on the costly electric power in India. This makes our project more viable although initial costs are bit high. In addition, Solar Storage Energy System is great for Business Continuity under adverse conditions like Cyclone etc where normal Grid is not available.
Our Warehouse has facility for Electric Vehicle Charging from the excess Solar Power generated. So in future, farmers who have electric two wheelers can also charge their vehicles in our warehouse.
In a way, KSW warehouses helps in reduction of CO2 emission and thus have a positive impact on Climate Change.

Mr. Keiichi Higuchi is the President of KSW. He is also the President of Kawasaki Rikuso Transportation (KRT).
Mr. Poran Dass is the Indian Director in KSW. He is a Finance Professional and an Entrepreneur.
Mr. Kaoru Kambe is a Director in KSW from 2017. He handles the Engineering side of our business like Project Execution, Vendor Management, Project Costing etc.
Ms. Parichita Chakravorty is the General Manager and in charge for our West Bengal Operations. She joined KSW in January, 2020. She is responsible for the entire supply.
Experience Vegetables from a World Class Warehouse
Our vegetables sourced directly from farmers are stored in the warehouse. Our warehouse maintains the appropriate temperature and humidity for increasing shelf life of agriculture produce.
The warehouse is constructed with a special plastering material called "Shikkui". Shikkui is an ecological nontoxic Japanese lime plaster primarily made out of hydrated lime and calcium carbonate coming from reprocessed egg shells. It controls moisture, mold, fire resistant and maintains an alkaline and anti- fungal environment inside the warehouse...
